Towards Resilient Woodlots: Risk Assessment and Mitigation

With current climate change, the Wabanaki-Acadian forest is facing increasingly frequent and intense disturbances that are significantly weakening it. Recent events in New Brunswick are a striking illustration of these climatic conditions: an unprecedented drought, marked by large-scale wildfires.  We must act to mitigate these risks and help the Wabanaki-Acadian forest become more resilient in a changing climate.

The New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners invites you to participate in the webinars and the workshops organized as part of the project “Towards Resilient Woodlots: Risk Assessment and Mitigation”.

These events will help you better understand climate-related risks. You will learn how to assess them, discover strategies to mitigate their impact, and, as a bonus, you will be able to impress your neighbours by talking about trees like a pro!

Don't wait for these risks to turn into uncontrollable disasters! Register and make the right decisions today.

P.S. The webinars will set the stage for the workshops. If you plan to join one of the workshops, we encourage you to attend the webinars. Don’t worry if you can’t make it — we’ll catch you up with all the highlights!
