Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper


Location: Hybrid (Remote/In-Office)
Duration
: Until March 31, 2026 (with potential for extension)

Salary: $400 - $500/week depending on experience and training

Are you an organized and adaptable professional looking to contribute your skills to a meaningful cause?

We are a small not-for-profit organization working closely with woodlot owners to promote sustainable forest management and stewardship. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings

  • Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes (as required)

  • Provide basic bookkeeping

  • Manage follow-ups on emails and phone calls

  • Maintain organized administrative records and digital files

  • Follow up on potential new memberships and past due memberships

  • Optional: Assist with social media content and engagement

  • Other tasks as assigned
     

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience with administrative tasks and bookkeeping

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, both official languages would be an asset

  • Previous work dealing with various levels of government would be an asset

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

  • Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of a small team, able to multitask

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as email platforms, spreadsheets, and video conferencing

  • Interest in forestry or non-profit work is a plus

  • Criminal record check required

  • Hybrid work model (combination of remote work and in-person as needed)

  • Small, dedicated staff team

  • Supportive and flexible work culture

  • Own computer and phone required for hybrid work (compensation available)
     

This is a contract position until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding and organizational needs.
