Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Location: Hybrid (Remote/In-Office)
Duration: Until March 31, 2026 (with potential for extension)

Salary: $400 - $500/week depending on experience and training
Are you an organized and adaptable professional looking to contribute your skills to a meaningful cause?
We are a small not-for-profit organization working closely with woodlot owners to promote sustainable forest management and stewardship. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our team.
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate meetings

Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes (as required)

Provide basic bookkeeping

Manage follow-ups on emails and phone calls

Maintain organized administrative records and digital files
-
Follow up on potential new memberships and past due memberships

Optional: Assist with social media content and engagement
-
Other tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Experience with administrative tasks and bookkeeping
-
Excellent written and verbal communication, both official languages would be an asset

Previous work dealing with various levels of government would be an asset

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of a small team, able to multitask

Familiarity with digital tools such as email platforms, spreadsheets, and video conferencing

Interest in forestry or non-profit work is a plus

Criminal record check required

This is a contract position until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding and organizational needs.
