Join us for this free webinar presentation by Dr. Cindy Staicer

Join the Nashwaak Watershed Association Inc. (NWAI) and the New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners (NBFWO) on Tuesday, February 6th at 3pm to hear from Dr. Cindy Staicer about some of the at-risk forest birds in Atlantic Canada and how we can manage forests to support their habitat requirements.

Since 1996, Dr. Staicer has studied forest birds and their habitat in Nova Scotia. She has led numerous monitoring, research and stewardship projects, working on forest bird habitat associations in protected and working forest landscapes. Dr. Staicer recently retired from Dalhousie University and continues to remain active in her research and teaching.

This webinar is hosted by NWAI’s Forest Stewardship Program, in partnership with the New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners, as part of the Wolastoq Priority Place for Species at Risk Program. This project was undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada through the federal Department of Environment and Climate Change Canada and the New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund.
